Each year the historic National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City hosts the Prix de West, a two month exhibition kicked off by the world's premiere Western Art sale.  Christensen will be represented in this prestigious show with two works, "Fox Creek" - 15x36, and his featured piece, "Miles of Open Space" - 36x96.

About "Miles of Open Space,"

"Looking north out of my studio window I can see light change every day and throughout each of the seasons.  This particular evening in February had very unique hues; early morning snow on the peaks was the stage for this last light, giving way to accentuate the varieties of reds, yellows, and blues, the primaries on our palette."
